Place candles and holders vertically and securely using a heat resistant holder on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface. Do not light candles near to or underneath flammable materials and ensure the flame is at least 10cm away from the top of the candle holder/lantern. Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Always position candles out of draughts other heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate overhead clearance. Do not handle whilst candle is lit or wax remains molten. Hot surfaces and hot wax – Danger of burns. Never leave lit candles unattended. Trim wick regularly. Always leave at least 5cm between burning candles. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish flame. Do not let candles burn down to within 5cm of candle holder or surface. Take extreme care to avoid damage or injury. Keep lit candles away from hair and clothing.
